اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ صَبَرُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَّاَجْرٌ كَبِيْرٌ ١١
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ṣabarū
- صَبَرُوا۟
- (are) patient
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and do
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- the good deeds
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- those
- lahum
- لَهُم
- for them
- maghfiratun
- مَّغْفِرَةٌ
- (will be) forgiveness
- wa-ajrun
- وَأَجْرٌ
- and a reward
- kabīrun
- كَبِيرٌ
- great
Except for those who are patient and do righteous deeds; those will have forgiveness and great reward. (QS. [11] Hud: 11)Tafsir
فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكٌۢ بَعْضَ مَا يُوْحٰىٓ اِلَيْكَ وَضَاۤىِٕقٌۢ بِهٖ صَدْرُكَ اَنْ يَّقُوْلُوْا لَوْلَآ اُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ كَنْزٌ اَوْ جَاۤءَ مَعَهٗ مَلَكٌ ۗاِنَّمَآ اَنْتَ نَذِيْرٌ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَّكِيْلٌ ۗ ١٢
- falaʿallaka
- فَلَعَلَّكَ
- Then possibly you
- tārikun
- تَارِكٌۢ
- (may) give up
- baʿḍa
- بَعْضَ
- a part
- mā
- مَا
- (of) what
- yūḥā
- يُوحَىٰٓ
- is revealed
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَ
- to you
- waḍāiqun
- وَضَآئِقٌۢ
- and straitened
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- by it
- ṣadruka
- صَدْرُكَ
- your breast
- an
- أَن
- because
- yaqūlū
- يَقُولُوا۟
- they say
- lawlā
- لَوْلَآ
- "Why not
- unzila
- أُنزِلَ
- is sent down
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- for him
- kanzun
- كَنزٌ
- a treasure
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- jāa
- جَآءَ
- has come
- maʿahu
- مَعَهُۥ
- with him
- malakun
- مَلَكٌۚ
- an Angel?"
- innamā
- إِنَّمَآ
- Only
- anta
- أَنتَ
- you
- nadhīrun
- نَذِيرٌۚ
- (are) a warner
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (is) on
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- wakīlun
- وَكِيلٌ
- a Guardian
Then would you possibly leave [out] some of what is revealed to you, or is your breast constrained by it because they say, "Why has there not been sent down to him a treasure or come with him an angel?" But you are only a warner. And Allah is Disposer of all things. (QS. [11] Hud: 12)Tafsir
اَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ افْتَرٰىهُ ۗقُلْ فَأْتُوْا بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍ مِّثْلِهٖ مُفْتَرَيٰتٍ وَّادْعُوْا مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ١٣
- am
- أَمْ
- Or
- yaqūlūna
- يَقُولُونَ
- they say
- if'tarāhu
- ٱفْتَرَىٰهُۖ
- "He has fabricated it"
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- fatū
- فَأْتُوا۟
- "Then bring
- biʿashri
- بِعَشْرِ
- ten
- suwarin
- سُوَرٍ
- Surahs
- mith'lihi
- مِّثْلِهِۦ
- like it
- muf'tarayātin
- مُفْتَرَيَٰتٍ
- fabricated
- wa-id'ʿū
- وَٱدْعُوا۟
- and call
- mani
- مَنِ
- whoever
- is'taṭaʿtum
- ٱسْتَطَعْتُم
- you can
- min
- مِّن
- besides Allah
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides Allah
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- besides Allah
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you are
- ṣādiqīna
- صَٰدِقِينَ
- truthful"
Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten Surahs like it that have been invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful." (QS. [11] Hud: 13)Tafsir
فَاِلَّمْ يَسْتَجِيْبُوْا لَكُمْ فَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّمَآ اُنْزِلَ بِعِلْمِ اللّٰهِ وَاَنْ لَّآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۚفَهَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ ١٤
- fa-illam
- فَإِلَّمْ
- Then if not
- yastajībū
- يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟
- they respond
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- to you
- fa-iʿ'lamū
- فَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟
- then know
- annamā
- أَنَّمَآ
- that
- unzila
- أُنزِلَ
- it was sent down
- biʿil'mi
- بِعِلْمِ
- with the knowledge of Allah
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- with the knowledge of Allah
- wa-an
- وَأَن
- and that
- lā
- لَّآ
- (there is) no
- ilāha
- إِلَٰهَ
- god
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- huwa
- هُوَۖ
- Him
- fahal
- فَهَلْ
- Then, would
- antum
- أَنتُم
- you
- mus'limūna
- مُّسْلِمُونَ
- (be) Muslims?
And if they do not respond to you – then know that it [i.e., the Quran] was revealed with the knowledge of Allah and that there is no deity except Him. Then, would you [not] be Muslims? (QS. [11] Hud: 14)Tafsir
مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيْدُ الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِيْنَتَهَا نُوَفِّ اِلَيْهِمْ اَعْمَالَهُمْ فِيْهَا وَهُمْ فِيْهَا لَا يُبْخَسُوْنَ ١٥
- man
- مَن
- Whoever [is]
- kāna
- كَانَ
- Whoever [is]
- yurīdu
- يُرِيدُ
- desires
- l-ḥayata
- ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ
- the life
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- (of) the world
- wazīnatahā
- وَزِينَتَهَا
- and its adornments
- nuwaffi
- نُوَفِّ
- We will repay in full
- ilayhim
- إِلَيْهِمْ
- to them
- aʿmālahum
- أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
- (for) their deeds
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- and they
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- in it
- lā
- لَا
- will not be lessened
- yub'khasūna
- يُبْخَسُونَ
- will not be lessened
Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments – We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived. (QS. [11] Hud: 15)Tafsir
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ اِلَّا النَّارُ ۖوَحَبِطَ مَا صَنَعُوْا فِيْهَا وَبٰطِلٌ مَّا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٦
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (are) the ones who -
- laysa
- لَيْسَ
- (is) not
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ākhirati
- ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- the Hereafter
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- l-nāru
- ٱلنَّارُۖ
- the Fire
- waḥabiṭa
- وَحَبِطَ
- And (has) gone in vain
- mā
- مَا
- what
- ṣanaʿū
- صَنَعُوا۟
- they did
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- wabāṭilun
- وَبَٰطِلٌ
- and (is) worthless
- mā
- مَّا
- what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- yaʿmalūna
- يَعْمَلُونَ
- do
Those are the ones for whom there is not in the Hereafter but the Fire. And lost is what they did therein, and worthless is what they used to do. (QS. [11] Hud: 16)Tafsir
اَفَمَنْ كَانَ عَلٰى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّهٖ وَيَتْلُوْهُ شَاهِدٌ مِّنْهُ وَمِنْ قَبْلِهٖ كِتٰبُ مُوْسٰىٓ اِمَامًا وَّرَحْمَةًۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِهٖ ۗوَمَنْ يَّكْفُرْ بِهٖ مِنَ الْاَحْزَابِ فَالنَّارُ مَوْعِدُهٗ فَلَا تَكُ فِيْ مِرْيَةٍ مِّنْهُ اِنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ١٧
- afaman
- أَفَمَن
- Then is he who
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- on
- bayyinatin
- بَيِّنَةٍ
- a clear proof
- min
- مِّن
- from
- rabbihi
- رَّبِّهِۦ
- his Lord
- wayatlūhu
- وَيَتْلُوهُ
- and recites it
- shāhidun
- شَاهِدٌ
- a witness
- min'hu
- مِّنْهُ
- from Him
- wamin
- وَمِن
- and before it
- qablihi
- قَبْلِهِۦ
- and before it
- kitābu
- كِتَٰبُ
- (was) a Book
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰٓ
- (of) Musa
- imāman
- إِمَامًا
- (as) a guide
- waraḥmatan
- وَرَحْمَةًۚ
- and (as) mercy?
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
- bihi
- بِهِۦۚ
- in it
- waman
- وَمَن
- But whoever
- yakfur
- يَكْفُرْ
- disbelieves
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- in it
- mina
- مِنَ
- among
- l-aḥzābi
- ٱلْأَحْزَابِ
- the sects
- fal-nāru
- فَٱلنَّارُ
- then the Fire
- mawʿiduhu
- مَوْعِدُهُۥۚ
- (will be) his promised (meeting) place
- falā
- فَلَا
- So (do) not
- taku
- تَكُ
- be
- fī
- فِى
- in
- mir'yatin
- مِرْيَةٍ
- doubt
- min'hu
- مِّنْهُۚ
- about it
- innahu
- إِنَّهُ
- Indeed, it
- l-ḥaqu
- ٱلْحَقُّ
- (is) the truth
- min
- مِن
- from
- rabbika
- رَّبِّكَ
- your Lord
- walākinna
- وَلَٰكِنَّ
- but
- akthara
- أَكْثَرَ
- most
- l-nāsi
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- (of) the people
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
So is one who [stands] upon a clear evidence from his Lord [like the aforementioned]? And a witness from Him follows it, and before it was the Scripture of Moses to lead and as mercy. Those [believers in the former revelations] believe in it [i.e., the Quran]. But whoever disbelieves in it from the [various] factions – the Fire is his promised destination. So be not in doubt about it. Indeed, it is the truth from your Lord, but most of the people do not believe. (QS. [11] Hud: 17)Tafsir
وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًاۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ يُعْرَضُوْنَ عَلٰى رَبِّهِمْ وَيَقُوْلُ الْاَشْهَادُ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَبُوْا عَلٰى رَبِّهِمْۚ اَلَا لَعْنَةُ اللّٰهِ عَلَى الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ۙ ١٨
- waman
- وَمَنْ
- And who
- aẓlamu
- أَظْلَمُ
- (is) more unjust
- mimmani
- مِمَّنِ
- than (he) who
- if'tarā
- ٱفْتَرَىٰ
- invents
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- against
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- kadhiban
- كَذِبًاۚ
- a lie?
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- yuʿ'raḍūna
- يُعْرَضُونَ
- will be presented
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- before
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْ
- their Lord
- wayaqūlu
- وَيَقُولُ
- and will say
- l-ashhādu
- ٱلْأَشْهَٰدُ
- the witnesses
- hāulāi
- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- "These (are)
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kadhabū
- كَذَبُوا۟
- lied
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- against
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْۚ
- their Lord"
- alā
- أَلَا
- No doubt!
- laʿnatu
- لَعْنَةُ
- (The) curse of Allah
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (The) curse of Allah
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- (is) on
- l-ẓālimīna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- the wrongdoers
And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about Allah? Those will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord." Unquestionably, the curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers. (QS. [11] Hud: 18)Tafsir
الَّذِيْنَ يَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَيَبْغُوْنَهَا عِوَجًاۗ وَهُمْ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ كفِٰرُوْنَ ١٩
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- yaṣuddūna
- يَصُدُّونَ
- hinder
- ʿan
- عَن
- from
- sabīli
- سَبِيلِ
- (the) way
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- wayabghūnahā
- وَيَبْغُونَهَا
- and seek (in) it
- ʿiwajan
- عِوَجًا
- crookedness
- wahum
- وَهُم
- while they
- bil-ākhirati
- بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- in the Hereafter
- hum
- هُمْ
- [they]
- kāfirūna
- كَٰفِرُونَ
- (are) disbelievers
Who averted [people] from the way of Allah and sought to make it [seem] deviant while they, concerning the Hereafter, were disbelievers. (QS. [11] Hud: 19)Tafsir
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَمْ يَكُوْنُوْا مُعْجِزِيْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مِنْ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ ۘ يُضٰعَفُ لَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ ۗمَا كَانُوْا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ السَّمْعَ وَمَا كَانُوْا يُبْصِرُوْنَ ٢٠
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- lam
- لَمْ
- not
- yakūnū
- يَكُونُوا۟
- will be
- muʿ'jizīna
- مُعْجِزِينَ
- (able to) escape
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- lahum
- لَهُم
- for them
- min
- مِّن
- besides
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- min
- مِنْ
- any
- awliyāa
- أَوْلِيَآءَۘ
- protectors
- yuḍāʿafu
- يُضَٰعَفُ
- And will be doubled
- lahumu
- لَهُمُ
- for them
- l-ʿadhābu
- ٱلْعَذَابُۚ
- the punishment
- mā
- مَا
- Not
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they were
- yastaṭīʿūna
- يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
- able
- l-samʿa
- ٱلسَّمْعَ
- (to) hear
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- yub'ṣirūna
- يُبْصِرُونَ
- see
Those were not causing failure [to Allah] on earth, nor did they have besides Allah any protectors. For them the punishment will be multiplied. They were not able to hear, nor did they see. (QS. [11] Hud: 20)Tafsir
