Surah Quraysh - Word by Word

لِاِيْلٰفِ قُرَيْشٍۙ ١
- liīlāfi
- لِإِيلَٰفِ
- For (the) familiarity
- qurayshin
- قُرَيْشٍ
- (of the) Quraish
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh - (QS. [106] Quraysh: 1)Tafsir

اٖلٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاۤءِ وَالصَّيْفِۚ ٢
- īlāfihim
- إِۦلَٰفِهِمْ
- Their familiarity
- riḥ'lata
- رِحْلَةَ
- (with the) journey
- l-shitāi
- ٱلشِّتَآءِ
- (of) winter
- wal-ṣayfi
- وَٱلصَّيْفِ
- and summer
Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer. (QS. [106] Quraysh: 2)Tafsir

فَلْيَعْبُدُوْا رَبَّ هٰذَا الْبَيْتِۙ ٣
- falyaʿbudū
- فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟
- So let them worship
- rabba
- رَبَّ
- (the) Lord
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- (of) this
- l-bayti
- ٱلْبَيْتِ
- House
Let them worship the Lord of this House, (QS. [106] Quraysh: 3)Tafsir
4
الَّذِيْٓ اَطْعَمَهُمْ مِّنْ جُوْعٍ ەۙ وَّاٰمَنَهُمْ مِّنْ خَوْفٍ ࣖ ٤
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- The One Who
- aṭʿamahum
- أَطْعَمَهُم
- feeds them
- min
- مِّن
- against
- jūʿin
- جُوعٍ
- hunger
- waāmanahum
- وَءَامَنَهُم
- and gives them security
- min
- مِّنْ
- against
- khawfin
- خَوْفٍۭ
- fear
Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear. (QS. [106] Quraysh: 4)Tafsir
