Al-'Adiyat [100]: 2 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

فَالْمُوْرِيٰتِ قَدْحًاۙ (العاديات : ١٠٠)

fal-mūriyāti
فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ
And the producers of sparks
qadḥan
قَدْحًا
striking

Transliteration:

Fal moori yaati qadha (QS. al-ʿĀdiyāt:2)

English / Sahih Translation:

And the producers of sparks [when] striking (QS. Al-'Adiyat, ayah 2)

Tafsir jalalayn

by the strikers, the steeds that strike fire [by way], of sparks, with their hoofs, when they gallop across rocky terrain by night;

meaning, the striking of their hooves on the rocks, which causes sparks of fire to fly from them.

فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا
