Al-Qur'an Surah Yunus Verse 77
Yunus [10]: 77 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
قَالَ مُوْسٰٓى اَتَقُوْلُوْنَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاۤءَكُمْ ۗ اَسِحْرٌ هٰذَاۗ وَلَا يُفْلِحُ السَّاحِرُوْنَ (يونس : ١٠)

- "Do you say
- lil'ḥaqqi
- لِلْحَقِّ
- about the truth

- جَآءَكُمْۖ
- it has come to you?
- asiḥ'run
- أَسِحْرٌ
- Is this magic?
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- Is this magic?
- walā
- وَلَا
- But (will) not
- yuf'liḥu
- يُفْلِحُ
- succeed
- l-sāḥirūna
- ٱلسَّٰحِرُونَ
- the magicians"
Transliteration:
Qaalaa Moosaaa ataqooloona lilhaqqi lammmaa jaaa'a kum asihrun haazaa wa laa yuflihus saabiroon(QS. al-Yūnus:77)
English / Sahih Translation:
Moses said, "Do you say [thus] about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But magicians will not succeed." (QS. Yunus, ayah 77)

Mūsā said, “Do you say (this) about the Truth when it came to you? Is this magic, while the magicians do not achieve success?”

Tafsir jalalayn
Moses said, `Do you say [so] of the Truth when it has come to you, that it is sorcery? Is this sorcery?, when the one who has brought it has indeed prospered and has invalidated the sorcery of the sorcerers? Now sorcerers do not prosper' (the interrogative in both instances is meant as a disavowal).
