Al-Qur'an Surah Yunus Verse 58

Yunus [10]: 58 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللّٰهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهٖ فَبِذٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوْاۗ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُوْنَ (يونس : ١٠)

ٱللَّهِ
"(of) Allah
wabiraḥmatihi
وَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦ
and in His Mercy
fabidhālika
فَبِذَٰلِكَ
so in that
falyafraḥū
فَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟
let them rejoice"

than what
yajmaʿūna
يَجْمَعُونَ
they accumulate

Transliteration:

Qul bifadlil laahi wa birahmatihii fabizaalika falyaf rahoo huwa khairum mimmaa yajma'oon (QS. al-Yūnus:58)

English / Sahih Translation:

Say, "In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy – in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate." (QS. Yunus, ayah 58)

Mufti Taqi Usmani

Say, “With the grace of Allah and with His mercy (this book has been revealed). So they should rejoice in it. It is much better than that (wealth) which they accumulate.

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “In Allah’s grace and mercy let them rejoice. That is far better than whatever ˹wealth˺ they amass.”

English Literal

Say: "With God`s grace/favour and His mercy, so with that so they should be happy/rejoiced , He/it is better from what they gather/collect ."

Tafsir jalalayn

Say; `In the bounty of God, [that is] Islam, and in His mercy, the Qur'n, in that, bounty and mercy, let them rejoice; it is better than what they hoard', in this world (read yajma`n, `they hoard', and tajma`n, `you hoard').

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُواْ


Say;"In the bounty of Allah, and in His mercy; therein let them rejoice."

rejoice in what has come from Allah. Let them rejoice in the guidance and the religion of the truth. It is better than anything they might rejoice in,

هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ



That is better than what (the wealth) they amass.

from the ruins of the world and its vanishing bloom undoubtedly
