Al-Qur'an Surah Yunus Verse 105
Yunus [10]: 105 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَاَنْ اَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّيْنِ حَنِيْفًاۚ وَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ (يونس : ١٠)

Transliteration:
Wa an aqim wajhaka liddeeni Haneefanw wa laa takoonannna minal mushrikeen(QS. al-Yūnus:105)
English / Sahih Translation:
And [commanded], 'Direct your face [i.e., self] toward the religion, inclining to truth, and never be of those who associate others with Allah; (QS. Yunus, ayah 105)

And, it has been said to me; "Set your purpose for religion, as a hanf, inclining towards it, and do not be of the idolaters;
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
وَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا
And that you direct your face towards the Hanif religion,
This means to make one's intention in worship solely for Allah alone, being a Hanif.
Hanif means one who turns away from associating partners with Allah.
For this reason Allah says,
وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
and not be one of the idolators.
This statement is directly connected with the previous statement,
وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُوْمِنِينَ
(And I was commanded to be one of the believers).
