الۤرٰ ۗتِلْكَ اٰيٰتُ الْكِتٰبِ الْحَكِيْمِ ١

- Alif Lam Ra
- til'ka
- تِلْكَ
- These
- āyātu
- ءَايَٰتُ
- (are the) verses
- l-kitābi
- ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
- (of) the Book
- l-ḥakīmi
- ٱلْحَكِيمِ
- the wise
Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the wise Book. (QS. [10] Yunus: 1)Tafsir
اَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا اَنْ اَوْحَيْنَآ اِلٰى رَجُلٍ مِّنْهُمْ اَنْ اَنْذِرِ النَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ قَالَ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَسٰحِرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ٢
- akāna
- أَكَانَ
- Is it
- lilnnāsi
- لِلنَّاسِ
- for the mankind
- ʿajaban
- عَجَبًا
- a wonder
- an
- أَنْ
- that
- awḥaynā
- أَوْحَيْنَآ
- We revealed
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- rajulin
- رَجُلٍ
- a man
- min'hum
- مِّنْهُمْ
- from (among) them
- an
- أَنْ
- that
- andhiri
- أَنذِرِ
- "Warn
- l-nāsa
- ٱلنَّاسَ
- the mankind
- wabashiri
- وَبَشِّرِ
- and give glad tidings
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (to) those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوٓا۟
- believe
- anna
- أَنَّ
- that
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- qadama
- قَدَمَ
- (will be) a respectable position
- ṣid'qin
- صِدْقٍ
- (will be) a respectable position
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- near
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْۗ
- their Lord?"
- qāla
- قَالَ
- Said
- l-kāfirūna
- ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
- the disbelievers
- inna
- إِنَّ
- "Indeed
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- this
- lasāḥirun
- لَسَٰحِرٌ
- (is) surely a magician
- mubīnun
- مُّبِينٌ
- obvious"
Have the people been amazed that We revealed [revelation] to a man from among them, [saying], "Warn mankind and give good tidings to those who believe that they will have a [firm] precedence of honor with their Lord"? [But] the disbelievers say, "Indeed, this is an obvious magician." (QS. [10] Yunus: 2)Tafsir
اِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ فِيْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُدَبِّرُ الْاَمْرَۗ مَا مِنْ شَفِيْعٍ اِلَّا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ اِذْنِهٖۗ ذٰلِكُمُ اللّٰهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوْهُۗ اَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ ٣
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- rabbakumu
- رَبَّكُمُ
- your Lord
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- (is) Allah
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- the One Who
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- created
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍa
- وَٱلْأَرْضَ
- and the earth
- fī
- فِى
- in
- sittati
- سِتَّةِ
- six
- ayyāmin
- أَيَّامٍ
- periods
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- is'tawā
- ٱسْتَوَىٰ
- He established
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- on
- l-ʿarshi
- ٱلْعَرْشِۖ
- the Throne
- yudabbiru
- يُدَبِّرُ
- disposing
- l-amra
- ٱلْأَمْرَۖ
- the affairs
- mā
- مَا
- Not
- min
- مِن
- (is) any intercessor
- shafīʿin
- شَفِيعٍ
- (is) any intercessor
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- min
- مِنۢ
- after
- baʿdi
- بَعْدِ
- after
- idh'nihi
- إِذْنِهِۦۚ
- His permission
- dhālikumu
- ذَٰلِكُمُ
- That
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- (is) Allah
- rabbukum
- رَبُّكُمْ
- your Lord
- fa-uʿ'budūhu
- فَٱعْبُدُوهُۚ
- so worship Him
- afalā
- أَفَلَا
- Then will not
- tadhakkarūna
- تَذَكَّرُونَ
- you remember?
Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne, arranging the matter [of His creation]. There is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Then will you not remember? (QS. [10] Yunus: 3)Tafsir
اِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيْعًاۗ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقًّاۗ اِنَّهٗ يَبْدَؤُا الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيْدُهٗ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ بِالْقِسْطِۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيْمٍ وَّعَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ۢبِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْفُرُوْنَ ٤
- ilayhi
- إِلَيْهِ
- To Him
- marjiʿukum
- مَرْجِعُكُمْ
- (will be) your return
- jamīʿan
- جَمِيعًاۖ
- [all]
- waʿda
- وَعْدَ
- Promise
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- ḥaqqan
- حَقًّاۚ
- (is) true
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- yabda-u
- يَبْدَؤُا۟
- originates
- l-khalqa
- ٱلْخَلْقَ
- the creation
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- yuʿīduhu
- يُعِيدُهُۥ
- He repeats it
- liyajziya
- لِيَجْزِىَ
- that He may reward
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believed
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and did
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- the good deeds
- bil-qis'ṭi
- بِٱلْقِسْطِۚ
- in justice
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- But those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- sharābun
- شَرَابٌ
- (will be) a drink
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- ḥamīmin
- حَمِيمٍ
- boiling fluids
- waʿadhābun
- وَعَذَابٌ
- and a punishment
- alīmun
- أَلِيمٌۢ
- painful
- bimā
- بِمَا
- because
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- yakfurūna
- يَكْفُرُونَ
- disbelieve
To Him is your return all together. [It is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. Indeed, He begins the [process of] creation and then repeats it that He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds, in justice. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment for what they used to deny. (QS. [10] Yunus: 4)Tafsir
هُوَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاۤءً وَّالْقَمَرَ نُوْرًا وَّقَدَّرَهٗ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوْا عَدَدَ السِّنِيْنَ وَالْحِسَابَۗ مَا خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ ذٰلِكَ اِلَّا بِالْحَقِّۗ يُفَصِّلُ الْاٰيٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَّعْلَمُوْنَ ٥
- huwa
- هُوَ
- He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- jaʿala
- جَعَلَ
- made
- l-shamsa
- ٱلشَّمْسَ
- the sun
- ḍiyāan
- ضِيَآءً
- a shining light
- wal-qamara
- وَٱلْقَمَرَ
- and the moon
- nūran
- نُورًا
- a reflected light
- waqaddarahu
- وَقَدَّرَهُۥ
- and determined for it
- manāzila
- مَنَازِلَ
- phases
- litaʿlamū
- لِتَعْلَمُوا۟
- that you may know
- ʿadada
- عَدَدَ
- (the) number
- l-sinīna
- ٱلسِّنِينَ
- (of) the years
- wal-ḥisāba
- وَٱلْحِسَابَۚ
- and the count (of time)
- mā
- مَا
- Not
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- created
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- bil-ḥaqi
- بِٱلْحَقِّۚ
- in truth
- yufaṣṣilu
- يُفَصِّلُ
- He explains
- l-āyāti
- ٱلْءَايَٰتِ
- the Signs
- liqawmin
- لِقَوْمٍ
- for a people
- yaʿlamūna
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- (who) know
It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases – that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allah has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know. (QS. [10] Yunus: 5)Tafsir
اِنَّ فِى اخْتِلَافِ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَا خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَّتَّقُوْنَ ٦
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- fī
- فِى
- in
- ikh'tilāfi
- ٱخْتِلَٰفِ
- (the) alternation
- al-layli
- ٱلَّيْلِ
- (of) the night
- wal-nahāri
- وَٱلنَّهَارِ
- and the day
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- (has been) created
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- (by) Allah
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍi
- وَٱلْأَرْضِ
- and the earth
- laāyātin
- لَءَايَٰتٍ
- (are) Signs
- liqawmin
- لِّقَوْمٍ
- for a people
- yattaqūna
- يَتَّقُونَ
- who are God conscious
Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and [in] what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear Allah. (QS. [10] Yunus: 6)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَرْجُوْنَ لِقَاۤءَنَا وَرَضُوْا بِالْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاطْمَـَٔنُّوْا بِهَا وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنْ اٰيٰتِنَا غٰفِلُوْنَۙ ٧
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- yarjūna
- يَرْجُونَ
- expect
- liqāanā
- لِقَآءَنَا
- the meeting with Us
- waraḍū
- وَرَضُوا۟
- and are pleased
- bil-ḥayati
- بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
- with the life
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- (of) the world
- wa-iṭ'ma-annū
- وَٱطْمَأَنُّوا۟
- and feel satisfied
- bihā
- بِهَا
- with it
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- and those -
- hum
- هُمْ
- they
- ʿan
- عَنْ
- (are) of
- āyātinā
- ءَايَٰتِنَا
- Our Signs
- ghāfilūna
- غَٰفِلُونَ
- heedless
Indeed, those who do not expect the meeting with Us and are satisfied with the life of this world and feel secure therein and those who are heedless of Our signs – (QS. [10] Yunus: 7)Tafsir
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ مَأْوٰىهُمُ النَّارُ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ ٨
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those -
- mawāhumu
- مَأْوَىٰهُمُ
- their abode
- l-nāru
- ٱلنَّارُ
- (will be) the Fire
- bimā
- بِمَا
- for what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- yaksibūna
- يَكْسِبُونَ
- earn
For those their refuge will be the Fire because of what they used to earn. (QS. [10] Yunus: 8)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ يَهْدِيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِاِيْمَانِهِمْۚ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الْاَنْهٰرُ فِيْ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيْمِ ٩
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believed
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and did
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- good deeds
- yahdīhim
- يَهْدِيهِمْ
- (will) guide them
- rabbuhum
- رَبُّهُم
- their Lord
- biīmānihim
- بِإِيمَٰنِهِمْۖ
- by their faith
- tajrī
- تَجْرِى
- Will flow
- min
- مِن
- from
- taḥtihimu
- تَحْتِهِمُ
- underneath them
- l-anhāru
- ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
- the rivers
- fī
- فِى
- in
- jannāti
- جَنَّٰتِ
- Gardens
- l-naʿīmi
- ٱلنَّعِيمِ
- (of) Delight
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure. (QS. [10] Yunus: 9)Tafsir
دَعْوٰىهُمْ فِيْهَا سُبْحٰنَكَ اللهم وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيْهَا سَلٰمٌۚ وَاٰخِرُ دَعْوٰىهُمْ اَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ࣖ ١٠
- daʿwāhum
- دَعْوَىٰهُمْ
- Their prayer
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- sub'ḥānaka
- سُبْحَٰنَكَ
- (will be) Glory be to You
- l-lahuma
- ٱللَّهُمَّ
- O Allah!"
- wataḥiyyatuhum
- وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ
- And their greeting
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein (will be)
- salāmun
- سَلَٰمٌۚ
- "Peace"
- waākhiru
- وَءَاخِرُ
- And the last
- daʿwāhum
- دَعْوَىٰهُمْ
- (of) their call
- ani
- أَنِ
- (will be) [that]
- l-ḥamdu
- ٱلْحَمْدُ
- "All the Praise be
- lillahi
- لِلَّهِ
- to Allah
- rabbi
- رَبِّ
- Lord
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- (of) the worlds"
Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds!" (QS. [10] Yunus: 10)Tafsir
